Licensed Associate Dentist

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of general dentistry procedures, exceptional patient care skills, and proficiency in utilizing advanced dental software systems. As a Licensed Associate Dentist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental services, diagnosing oral health conditions, and developing treatment plans that meet the individual needs of each patient. Your expertise will contribute to delivering outstanding dental care in a professional and welcoming environment.

Duties

• Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures, including dental examinations, restorations, extractions, and root canal therapy.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
• Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.
• Operate and maintain dental equipment and technology such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix software for scheduling, charting, and medical documentation.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with specialists in orthodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry as needed for comprehensive patient care.
• Provide patient education on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster long-term oral health.
• Maintain detailed medical records and ensure all documentation aligns with legal standards and healthcare diagnosis procedures.
• Assist in dental fabrication processes such as crowns or prostheses when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations related to medical imaging, anesthesia administration (if qualified), and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as an Associate Dentist with current licensing credentials.
• Proven experience in general dentistry within a clinical or dental office setting.
• Proficiency with dental practice management software including Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices.
• Experience performing diverse procedures such as dental extractions, root canals, implants, orthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
• Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles and techniques is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing medical records management.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and client communication.

Pay: $96,524.37 - $116,244.40 per year
