Dental Receptionist

Lansing periodontal/dental implant practice is seeking a front desk receptionist to fill a full-time position on our team.

Preference is a candidate with a dental background.. We are looking for an upbeat person with good communication skills as they will be working directly with patients, doctors, and other team members.

Primary duties of the front desk team include, but not limited too:

• Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
• Scheduling, rescheduling appointments as needed.
• Assisting patients in completing information forms.
• Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedure
• Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
• Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing, and faxing.
• Verifying Dental Insurance

Requirements and Skills:

• 1 year dental office experience
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to receive and respond to feedback
• Interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Time-management and organizational skills

• Monday thru Thursday 7:30am-5pm

• 1 year dental office experience preferred
