Dental Office manager/ billing coordinator Orthodontic office

About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily front office operations and ensure smooth workflow across the orthodontic practice
• Manage patient billing, insurance claims, and orthodontic treatment contract collections
• Verify insurance eligibility, process claims, and follow up on outstanding balances and EOBs
• Coordinate patient scheduling, appointments, and treatment plan presentations
• Supervise and support front desk staff, providing training and performance guidance
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Communicate with orthodontists and clinical team to align administrative and patient care goals

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of dental or orthodontic office management and/or billing experience
• Strong knowledge of dental/orthodontic insurance billing, coding (CDT codes), and claims processing
• Proficiency in dental practice management software (Dolphin, Dentrix, or similar)
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced orthodontic environment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred for serving the Coral Gables community
• Professional, patient-focused demeanor with a commitment to exceptional customer service
