Our General Dentist practice is looking for a friendly RDH. We are looking for someone who is gentle, thorogh, and great at talking iwth patients of all ages.

The hours are Monday-Thursday from 7am-5 pm

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using dental imaging equipment, ensuring proper technique and patient comfort.
• Assess patient health by measuring vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration; document findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain strict infection prevention protocols through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization of dental instruments and equipment.
• Manage patient records with attention to HIPAA compliance, ensuring confidentiality and accurate documentation of medical history, dental charts, and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.
• Skilled in chairside assisting, including handling dental equipment, taking x-rays, and supporting the dentist during procedures.
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their oral health needs.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
