Registered Dental Hygienist – Full-Time

Arapahoe Dental is looking for a friendly, reliable, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team! We are a privately owned dental practice dedicated to providing high-quality care in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-time
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1 hour break for lunch at 12:00 PM)
• Location: Boulder, CO
• Pay: Competitive, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance.
• Perform periodontal charting and assess patients' oral health.
• Take diagnostic radiographs, including bitewings and periapical X-rays.
• Identify signs of gingivitis, periodontal disease, caries, and other oral health concerns.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
• Apply fluoride and other preventive treatments as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Properly sterilize instruments and follow all infection control and OSHA protocols.
• Work closely with the dentist and dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Dental Hygienist license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, dependable, and comfortable working with patients of all ages.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the dental team.
• Experience with Eaglesoft preferred, but not required.
