Registered Dental Assistant

We are a high-quality Dental practice in Rutherford, NJ looking for the right person to complete our team. We have amazing patients, a beautiful facility, a great team with appreciative doctors. Our ideal candidate will be dental software and computer proficient, have great verbal skills, be a team player and very reliable. Responsibilities include:

• Practicing four-handed dentistry: We have 4 General Dentists, an Oral Surgeon, Endodontist, and Periodontist on staff.
• Chairside Assistance: Isolate fields, place retraction cords, and apply topical anesthetics.
• Diagnostics & Imaging: Expose dental radiographs (NJ X-ray license required) and take high-quality diagnostic impressions.
• Restorative Care: Fabricate, cement, and remove temporary crowns or bridges, and place temporary fillings.
• Orthodontic Support: Place attachments for invisalign
• Patient Prep: Assist the dentist with direct restorative materials, apply etch/pumice, and take patient vital signs.
• Break down and set up of dental operatories
• Proper sterilization techniques
• Patient education and providing post op instructions

Hours are Monday 9-6, Tuesdays 10-6, Wednesdays (currently 1/month, as of 1/2027, 2 per month from 12-6), Thursdays 10-6, Saturdays 9-2 (We are closed 1 Saturday/month). We are closed every Friday.

Experience in the dental field is required, and experience with Dentrix is preferred. Please submit your resume for consideration.

License/Certification: RDA preferred
