Pediatric Dental Assistant

We are seeking a warm, energetic, and patient Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare children and adolescents for dental examinations and treatments, ensuring a comforting "Tell-Show-Do" approach.
• Assist the pediatric dentist during a variety of clinical procedures (four-handed dentistry).
• Take high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays) on pediatric patients.
• Perform dental prophylaxis, topical fluoride applications, and apply pit and fissure sealants (depending on state certifications).
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care.
• Sterilize instruments, prepare treatment rooms, and maintain strict infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred.
• Active State Dental Assistant Registration/Certification (RDA/CDA) and X-ray certification.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Previous experience in a pediatric dental practice is a major plus, but we are willing to train the right personality!
• Exceptional communication skills and a natural ability to connect with kids and anxious parents.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
