Insurance Coordinator/Receptionist

Location: Carrollton, TX and Mckinney, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20–$22/hr (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced dental front office professional who can confidently manage insurance verification, claims, and eligibility. This is not an entry-level position — dental insurance experience is required. If you also have the ability to present treatment plans, that is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility before appointments.
• Enter and maintain accurate insurance details in our practice management system.
• Submit claims, track outstanding claims, and follow up on denials.
• Collect copays, explain balances, and answer patient insurance questions.
• Greet and check in/out patients while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.
• Answer phones, schedule and confirm appointments, and manage patient flow.
• Support treatment plan presentation (preferred but not required).

Requirements

• Prior dental front office experience with insurance coordination is required.
• Strong knowledge of insurance verification, claims processing, and denials.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with dental software (Dentrix/Dentrix Ascend preferred).
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to present treatment plans and financial estimates.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
