Dental Front Desk Coordinator

Myers Pediatric Dentistry | Middleburg, FL

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:40 a.m.–4:20 p.m.

Myers Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is seeking a Dental Front Desk Coordinator who can make children and parents feel welcome while keeping the day organized. You’ll help families with appointments, registration, insurance questions, and treatment plans, and work closely with the clinical team to support an efficient schedule.

What you’ll do

Welcome patients and families, assist with check-in and registration, and notify the clinical team when patients arrive.

Schedule appointments and coordinate provider schedules.

Verify insurance benefits, obtain necessary preauthorizations, and explain coverage to families.

Present treatment plans and review insurance coverage with parents or guardians.

Keep patient information accurate in Dentrix and provide appointment documentation as needed.

Scan documents, prepare forms for the next day, and keep the front desk and reception area clean and organized.

Protect patient information in accordance with HIPAA and assist the Office Manager with other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring

At least one year of experience in a dental office.

Experience using Dentrix.

Familiarity with dental terminology and insurance.

Clear communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy office.

A warm, adaptable, and collaborative approach with children, families, and coworkers.

Preferred: Two or more years of dental office experience and experience in pediatric dentistry.
