Floater Dental Assistant/Surgical Assistant

**Job Summary:**Home office will be Dickson or Springhill depending on candidate*** Floater position would cover Dickson, Clarksville, Bellevue, Goodlettsville, and Jackson locations when needed. (Pay also depends on experience.)We want a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Midstate Oral Surgery. The ideal candidate should possess a strong knowledge of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. This position offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth. **Responsibilities:** - Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures - Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort - Sterilize instruments according to regulations - Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures - Take and develop dental x-rays (including 3D scans) - Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation using [DSN] software - Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies - Perform office tasks as needed to maintain an efficient workflow **Requirements:** - Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program - Proficiency in using a 3D scanner for dental imaging - Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols - Familiarity with dental terminology and anatomy - Experience in assisting with oral surgery procedures is a plus - Strong understanding of medical imaging techniques - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join our team and contribute to providing top-quality dental care to our patients while advancing your career in the field of dentistry. **Also willing to learn extra tasks such a phone calls, scheduling patients.
