Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

The office of Michael H Min, DDS in Merrillville, IN is looking to add a full-time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to its team. Dr. Min is a single practitioner with an established long term patient base. He is looking for an enthusiastic team player to add to his outstanding staff.

Assistant should be able to perform the following:

-Set up and clean operatory - Operate x-ray equipment - Sterilize and prepare dental instruments - Assist dentist with chairside procedures - Place composite restorations - Make temporary crowns - Take impressions - Adjust dentures - Other general dental procedures

Clinic office hours:

Monday and Tuesday: 12:00 - 8:00, Wednesday: 9:00 - 4:00, Thursday: 9:00 - 6:00,
Friday: 9:00 - 1:00

Skills Needed:

Indiana EFDA certification, Radiology certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 33.0 per week
