Dental Treatment Coordinator/Receptionist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth patient experience by coordinating treatment plans, managing patient inquiries. This position requires strong communication skills, familiarity with dental terminology, and proficiency in clerical tasks within a medical office environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding treatment options and appointment scheduling using phone systems.
• Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients, ensuring accurate information is communicated.
• Assist in the preparation of patient treatment plans by collaborating with dental professionals.
• Maintain organized patient records and documentation, utilizing knowledge of ICD-10 and dental terminology.
• Provide clerical support to the office, including filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
• Educate patients about their treatment options and financial responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with all medical office protocols and policies to maintain a high standard of care.
• Serve as a liaison between patients and dental staff to enhance communication and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
• Proficient in insurance verification processes and medical billing practices.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and ICD-10 coding is highly desirable.
• Strong clerical skills with attention to detail in managing patient records.
