Dental / Orthodontic Assistant

Our office is dedicated to providing exceptional orthodontic care in a friendly and professional environment. We value patient comfort, education, attention to detail and ongoing improvement. We are looking for a skilled, positive person to join our growing practice. Must be able to work well independently and as a team member. Sense of humor, compassion and a strong desire to help others are essential. Experience is great, but the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn are also crucial!

Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist in patient care and treatment
- Take x-rays
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Ensure the orthodontic office is clean, organized and well-stocked

- Provide exceptional patient care and support throughout smile journey

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent

-Strong Communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work efficiently
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience
- Current certification as an Orthodontic Assistant
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
