Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following infection prevention management and aseptic techniques to ensure clinical safety.
• Assist dentists during various procedures
• Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans using advanced medical imaging technology while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
• Manage patient records using our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Educate patients on oral health care practices, post-treatment instructions, and preventive measures to promote optimal dental health.
• Perform dental instrument processing and sterilization procedures in compliance with infection control standards to maintain a safe clinical environment.
• Support administrative tasks such as patient check-in/out, scheduling appointments with patient management software, and coordinating follow-up care with the dental reception team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic environment.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, dental equipment, and clinical procedures including X-ray techniques and oral surgery assistance.
• Certification in Dental Radiography (X-ray) is required
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, especially in pediatric dentistry settings.
• Ability to maintain clinical confidentiality policies while managing sensitive medical documentation and records.
• Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques, dental sterilization procedures, and aseptic techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
