Dental Hygienist

A Rare Opportunity!! Very friendly, progressive Taos Dental Office has an immediate opening for a FT or PT licensed, registered dental hygienist, proficient at all phases of dental hygiene and taking charge of patients' hygiene treatment. Local Anesthesia License and Laser Certified preferred. Current BLS certification. Taking dental radiographs. Frequent chartinng with assistance.. Experience preferred. Dexis. Office is technologically advanced. Dentrix software, with computers in every operatory. 3 hygiene rooms, several lasers. Wide range of services, place and restore implants, some surgery, endo, cosmetics. Dentist is Master of AGD and we usually take at least one out of state CE trip a year. Vacation, personal days, holidays paid after probation period. Must be a team player and have good communicating skills with staff and patients. 2-4 days a week. We have a pretty good time here, we'll give you a chance to shine. Depending on your abilities and drive to be a leader, an opportunity to grow and be in charge. Not corporate.

Salary:$55 per hour. SRP bonuses possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care by performing dental cleanings and assessments.
• Utilize dental terminology and maintain accurate medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist in the administration of local anesthesia and monitor vital signs during procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
• Stay updated on dental technologies and practices to enhance patient care.

Pay: $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 32.0 per week
