Dental Hygienist

Join a practice where patient relationships, quality care, and teamwork matter. Mark Melevsky, DMD is seeking a warm, dependable Dental Hygienist to join our newly renovated, seven-operatory practice.

With all-new equipment, an established patient base, one full-time general dentist, and a visiting periodontist, our office offers the opportunity to build lasting patient relationships while working in a friendly, supportive environment. We welcome experienced hygienists and qualified newer graduates with strong clinical fundamentals and a willingness to learn.

What You’ll Do

• Provide preventive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and nonsurgical periodontal therapy as appropriate.
• Assess and document patients’ oral health, periodontal conditions, and medical histories.
• Obtain diagnostic digital X-rays as appropriate.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and recommended treatment.
• Help anxious patients feel comfortable through compassionate care and clear communication.
• Collaborate with the dentist and visiting periodontist to support individualized patient care.
• Maintain accurate records in Dentrix and follow infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
• Help keep the clinical day organized and support teammates when needed.

Compensation and Benefits

• $50–$60 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Office Hours

• Monday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Tuesday and Thursday: 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
• Wednesday: 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
• Closed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Our Office

Our newly renovated practice features seven operatories, modern dental and sterilization equipment, Dentrix software, digital X-rays, iTero scanning, and Vatech CBCT imaging.
