Registered Dental Hygienist

Overview

• Provide compassionate, age-appropriate dental hygiene care in a pediatric dental office, including care for patients with special care needs.
• Support patients and families in understanding oral health and maintaining healthy dental care routines.

Duties

• Deliver patient care and use dental equipment appropriately during hygiene visits.
• Take dental X-rays as needed and follow applicable safety procedures.
• Communicate with patients and families in a clear, supportive manner.
• Maintain accurate medical records and use dental terminology appropriately.

Skills

• Dental clinic experience.
• Experience with dental X-rays and dental equipment.
• Strong client communication and patient education skills.
• Familiarity with medical records and dental terminology.
• Ability to provide respectful care to pediatric patients, including those with special care needs.

Pay: $47.48 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 per week
