Dental Hygienist

We are looking for a Dental Hygienist for our small but fun Jenison office. If you are motivated, outgoing, and enjoy your work, we have great patients and staff waiting to meet you. We have a full or part time position available. Whether you have years of experience, or are a new grad, we are excited to meet and work with you!

Office Hours

• Monday: 8:00am-4:00pm
• Tuesday: 11:00am-7:00pm
• Wednesday: 11:00am-7:00pm
• Thursday: 8:00am-4:00pm

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible
• Sterilize dental instruments
• Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
• Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
• Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
• Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
• Take X-rays
• Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
