Dental Front Office/Billing Coordinator

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Office/Billing Coordinator to join our team. We use OpenDental Software Practice Management Software and Carestream imaging. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice by providing excellent support to both patients and dental staff. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, coding, insurance experience and office procedures to maintain efficient patient flow and accurate record-keeping.

Duties

• Assist with patient scheduling, confirming appointments, and managing patient flow within the office.
• Maintain accurate dental records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans, insurance coverage, and billing inquiries.

Skills

• Open Dental Practice Management Software Experience
• Strong understanding of dental billing processes and experience with collections.
• Previous experience in a dental office of at least 3 years.
• Solid knowledge of dental terminology to communicate effectively within the healthcare environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and billing processes.
