DENTAL Front Desk Receptionist

We are currently seeking a Dental Receptionist with 2+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of obtaining breakdowns of benefits, contacting insurance companies to inquire about covered procedures and fee schedules, processing pre-authorizations, as well as entering and calculating downgrades and frequencies.

Job Summary
The receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth processing of checking in. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of dental terminology, as well as experience with insurance verification processes.

Duties
- Checking in patients
- Handeling heavy call volume
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their insurance inquiries and billing questions.
- Utilize Dentrix Ascend software for managing patient records
- Stay updated on changes in insurance policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements

-Bilingual: Fluent in English & Spanish (heavy call volume)
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology is essential.
- Previous experience in pediatrics is desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
