Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our dental office team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and maintaining a welcoming environment for all.

Duties

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing them with necessary information and assistance.
• Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries efficiently.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Process patient intake forms and verify insurance information.
• Utilize medical office management systems (Dentrix Ascend) for scheduling and record keeping.
• Ensure the front desk area is organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Collaborate with dental providers to facilitate smooth patient flow within the office.

Experience

• Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective patient interaction.
• Proficiency in using office equipment and computer systems.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
