Advanced Prosthodontics & Implant Esthetics is seeking a skilled, dependable, and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our team. We are a specialty practice committed to clinical excellence, advanced technology, and providing an exceptional experience for every patient.

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Approximately 35–40 hours per week, with some Fridays reserved for continuing education, team development, or scheduled as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures, including sterilizing instruments, setting up equipment, and ensuring rooms are fully prepared for patient care.
• Assist doctors chairside during procedures by passing instruments, suctioning, maintaining a clear working field, and providing hands-on clinical support.
• Take high-quality digital dental X-rays and CBCT scans as directed by the doctor.
• Assist with crown and bridge, implant, prosthodontic, and surgical procedures.
• Perform laboratory and digital dentistry duties, including pouring impressions, fabricating temporary crowns, and 3D printing.
• Follow strict infection-control and sterilization protocols and maintain proper aseptic techniques.
• Educate patients regarding oral hygiene, treatment, and post-operative care instructions.
• Accurately document patient information, treatment, and clinical notes in patient charts.
• Anticipate the doctor's needs and help maintain an organized and efficient clinical workflow.
• Provide exceptional patient care while ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit.
• Work collaboratively with doctors and team members to keep the clinical schedule running efficiently.

Experience & Qualifications

• Previous Dental Assistant experience is required.
• Experience assisting with surgical and implant procedures is required.
• Must be knowledgeable and comfortable assisting with crown and bridge procedures.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, instruments, and equipment.
• Proficient in taking diagnostic-quality dental X-rays.
• Experience with CBCT imaging is preferred.
• Experience with 3D printing and digital dentistry workflows is a plus.
• Familiarity with Dentrix is a plus.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate clinical needs.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced specialty practice.
• Must work well as part of a team and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
• Nitrous Oxide certification required.
• Current CPR certification required.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
