Associate Dentist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and will be proficient in various dental procedures. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient interactions, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout their treatment journey. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to maintain high standards of dental health and hygiene.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to dental extractions, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Fabricate dental appliances and prosthetics as needed.
• Provide patient education on oral health, preventive care, and treatment options.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure optimal patient care and clinic operations.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental practices and technologies.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
• Experience or familiarity with dental clinic operations is preferred.
• Proficient in medical documentation practices and HIPAA compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also demonstrating independent decision-making skills.
