Lakeshore Dentistry is hiring an experienced general dentist for a genuinely surgical seat. If you place implants, graft bone, and do your own extractions, our restorative dentists will refer all cases to you! Tired of dental insurance dictating your services? Sick of production adjustments eating away at your income? We are free from that!! Our fee-for-service practice gets paid for all of the work we do!

The role

- Full-time, four days per week

- Heavy surgical mix: implant placement, bone grafting, surgical extractions, plus comprehensive restorative

- Full clinical autonomy: you treatment-plan your own cases

- CBCT, digital scanner, in-house printing and lab technician, IV sedation, Surgical Implant equipment.

- Established patient base with immediate surgical volume; experienced assisting and hygiene team

Mentorship, both directions

This is a teaching practice. You will work chairside with the owner on complex treatment planning and surgical cases, and as you settle in you will help develop the clinicians around you. We want someone who sees mentoring as part of the job, not a break from production.

Compensation

- Guaranteed daily rate of $1,200 while you ramp, then the greater of the guarantee or 30% of production

- Realistic first-year earnings of $250,000-$350,000+ based on current surgical volume

- Profit-sharing after year one: a defined share of practice profits on top of production pay

- Signing bonus $15,000 and relocation assistance available

- Benefits: health insurance, CE allowance, malpractice, license and dues

What we are looking for

- DDS/DMD, licensed or license-eligible in Michigan

- 5+ years of clinical experience

- Documented training and real case volume in implant placement, bone grafting, and oral surgery - we will ask about your cases

- Someone looking for a long-term final dental home, not a stopover
