Dental Assistant – Sterilization Technician – Maternity Leave Coverage

Damonte Ranch Dental Care is looking for a friendly, dependable Dental Assistant or Sterilization Technician to join our team on a temporary basis while one of our assistants is on maternity leave.

We are a small, privately owned general dental practice with a supportive team and a relaxed, patient-focused environment.

Position: Temporary Dental Assistant / Sterilization Technician
Schedule: Approximately 4 days per week
Duration: Approximately 2–3 months of maternity leave coverage, with the possibility of continued part-time or on-call work afterward

Responsibilities may include:

• Sterilization and instrument processing
• Setting up and breaking down treatment rooms
• Keeping operatories stocked and organized
• Seating patients and assisting with patient flow
• Taking dental X-rays, if qualified
• Chairside assisting with general dentistry procedures, depending on experience
• Helping the clinical team stay on schedule throughout the day

We are flexible regarding experience. An experienced dental assistant who can step directly into chairside assisting would be wonderful, but we are also open to a newer dental assistant, dental assisting student, or someone with strong sterilization experience who is dependable, organized, and eager to learn.

• Comfortable working in a busy general dental office

Experience with Dentrix and digital dentistry is a plus but not required.

Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
