Surgical Assistant - Oral Surgery

Our busy practice is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and hard-working surgical assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience assisting in a dental or surgical setting. This is an excellent position for someone looking for a long-term opportunity to grow with a company.

Job responsibilities include:

• Assisting with anesthesia and nitrous oxide surgical procedures
• Sterilizing instruments
• Surveying and ordering drugs and surgical supplies
• Taking x-rays
• Setting up and turning over rooms prior to and between surgeries
• Discharging patients with appropriate instructions
• Scheduling patients and answering phones as needed
