Registered Dental Hygienist

We're looking for a registered dental hygienist to join our growing team! You’ll complete initial patient screenings, conduct dental cleanings, and assist dentists with examinations and procedures. Compensation:

$56 - $60 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Use x-ray machines to take photos of the patients’ teeth so the dentist can clearly identify cavities or other oral health issues
• Remove plaque and apply fluoride or other sealants to prevent cavities and tooth decay
• Put patients at ease by talking with them before, during, and after the appointment
• Advise patients on how to properly care for their teeth after a procedure or operation
• Record any changes to the patient’s health history and document the ongoings of each appointment

• Cleaning teeth by removing plaque, tartar, and stains
• Examining patients for signs of oral diseases such as cavities or gum disease
• Taking dental X-rays
• Applying preventive treatments like fluoride and sealants
• Educating patients about proper brushing, flossing, diet, and oral hygiene habits
• Recording patient medical histories and treatment notes
• Using and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
• Monitoring patient comfort and safety during appointments
• Scheduling follow-up care or recommending further treatment

Qualifications:

• Certified to perform CPR
• Licensed to practice as a dental hygienist in the state
• Capable of standing all day to assist patients
• Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in registered dental hygiene program preferred, associate’s degree required
• Understands HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
