Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our vibrant dental team. In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional patient care by performing thorough dental cleanings, assessments, and education while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for every patient. Private practice, single column schedule, not a corporate office

Duties

• Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using dental imaging equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to empower informed decisions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and medical histories.
• Follow infection prevention management protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization of dental instruments and equipment.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) with current certification to perform dental hygiene procedures.
• Proven experience working in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry settings with a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
• Proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Practice Works for documentation and scheduling.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare infection prevention standards compliant with HIPAA regulations.
• Ability to perform dental x-rays accurately while maintaining patient safety through proper radiographic techniques.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction, education, and team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of medical assessment procedures including vital signs monitoring and patient care protocols.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28.0 – 32.0 per week
