Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Full-Time or Part-Time

We are a busy, established multi-specialty dental practice in Orland Park seeking a motivated, dependable, and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Our ideal hygienist is someone who enjoys building relationships with patients, takes pride in educating patients about their oral and periodontal health, and works well as part of a collaborative dental team.

Schedule

Monday–Wednesday: Hygiene with our General Dentist
Thursday: Hygiene with our Periodontist
Saturday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough, patient-centered preventive and periodontal hygiene care
• Perform prophylaxis and Scaling & Root Planing (SRP)
• Take FMX and other necessary digital radiographs
• Assess patients’ periodontal and oral health needs
• Educate patients regarding oral hygiene, periodontal disease, treatment recommendations, and long-term maintenance
• Work closely with our General Dentist and Periodontist to provide comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Utilize Eaglesoft practice-management software
• Help maintain a productive hygiene schedule
• Contact recall and overdue hygiene patients during unscheduled time or gaps in the workday
• Assist the team as needed to provide an excellent patient experience

What We’re Looking For

• Current Illinois Registered Dental Hygienist license
• Strong clinical and periodontal skills
• Comfortable performing SRP and taking FMX
• Excellent communication and patient-education skills
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
• Motivated and willing to take initiative during downtime
• Eaglesoft experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• CPR up to date
