Lakeside Smiles is looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing team in Devils Lake, ND! We are a patient-centered dental practice committed to providing high-quality care while creating a welcoming, positive experience for every patient.

What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive preventive dental hygiene care, including scaling, polishing, and periodontal assessments
• Review medical and dental histories and obtain appropriate patient information and vital signs
• Take diagnostic dental radiographs while following proper safety and infection-control protocols
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
• Provide preventive treatments such as fluoride and sealants as appropriate
• Work closely with the dentist and dental team to identify and communicate patient treatment needs
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation in our electronic dental records system
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, CDC, and dental infection-control standards
• Ensure patient comfort and create a positive, welcoming experience
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient operatory
• Assist with sterilization and infection-control procedures as needed
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
• Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and opportunities for professional growth

What We're Looking For

• Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in North Dakota
• Strong clinical and patient-communication skills
• A positive, professional, and compassionate attitude
• Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care
• Comfortable working with patients of all ages, including children
• Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, radiography, and infection prevention
• Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus
• Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and HIPAA compliance
• Desire to continue learning and growing professionally
