Position Overview

Badger Dental Group is seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to provide exceptional preventive dental care and patient education. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care within a modern, collaborative, and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance.
• Apply fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive therapies as appropriate.
• Conduct oral health assessments and screenings for conditions such as gingivitis, periodontitis, and cavities.
• Take and develop dental radiographs and other diagnostic images.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and overall oral health.
• Answer patient questions with professionalism and clarity.
• Work closely with dentists and other clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Provide a smooth patient flow and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely patient records.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
• Stay up to date on the latest clinical techniques, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program (associate or bachelor’s degree).
• Successful completion of the National Board Dental Hygiene Exam and state clinical board exam.
• Licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of North Dakota.
• Experience in general dentistry, pediatrics, or specialty procedures (a plus).
• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong clinical skills with attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to educate and motivate patients on oral health and preventive care.
• Proficient in dental radiography and infection control protocols.
• Familiarity with modern dental technology and electronic health records.
• Experience educating patients on oral health and preventive care.

Pay: From $46.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
