Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Summary

Our privately owned, family-oriented dental practice is seeking an experienced and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our close-knit team . We take pride in providing an elevated level of care in a calm, welcoming environment where both patients and team members feel valued.

What you’ll do

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring and medical history reviews, to tailor care effectively
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, dietary recommendations, and preventive care strategies
• Utilize dental imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
• Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans that align with general dentistry protocols and patient needs
• Implement infection control measures and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff
• Maintain accurate dental records and documentation in compliance with HIPPA regulations
• Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and dental coding to enhance your contributions to the practice

Basic qualifications

• Valid dental hygiene license

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and infection control protocols
• Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is advantageous
• Experience with dental software
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients

Pay: From $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 32.0 per week
