Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. We are looking for 1-2 days per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental office procedures, infection control protocols, and the ability to work closely with others.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
• Review medical records and document patient history accurately.
• Implement infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment.
• Assist in four-handed dentistry by supporting the dentist during procedures.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient interactions.
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications

• Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
• Experience in a dental office setting preferred, with knowledge of general dentistry principles.
• Familiarity with medical coding and documentation review processes is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of infection control standards and protocols.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while providing compassionate patient care.
