Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including restorative, endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry with precision and professionalism.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring all supplies are ready for patient care.
• Take high-quality dental x-rays and medical imaging while adhering to infection prevention management protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Manage patient records accurately using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or other patient management software; ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for clinical confidentiality policies.
• Perform vital signs assessments and document medical documentation to support comprehensive patient care.
• Process dental instruments following sterilization procedures to maintain a sterile environment in accordance with infection control standards.
• Support front desk operations as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow efficiently.

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent licensure in accordance with state regulations.
• Proven experience working in a general dentistry or pediatric dentistry setting; experience with dental clinic operations is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; familiarity with patient management software is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, dental equipment, and clinical procedures including X-ray techniques and dental instrument processing.
• Ability to perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques across various specialties like endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and orthodontics.
• Excellent understanding of infection prevention management practices including sterilization procedures and healthcare infection control expertise.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical documentation standards to ensure accurate record keeping.
• Exceptional communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care; ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
