Registered Dental Assistant for a Highly-Rated Dental Practice

Dr. Webb, Dr. Awtrey, and the rest of our qualified staff are looking for an experienced RDA to join us full-time. The right candidate will have initiative and problem-solving abilities while maintaining a positive and team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Assist dentist chairside to perform excellent patient care in a variety of procedures through passing instruments and anticipating needs.
• Discuss, record, and document the patient’s medical records. This includes the patient’s medical history, progress notes, prescriptions, and treatment plans.
• Educate patients about Risk Factors, disease and prevention, and needed treatment.
• Communicate treatment needs to patients and schedule for future appointments. Maintain relationships with patients and follow up by phone for unscheduled treatment.
• Prepare treatment rooms for procedures and break down treatment rooms for future patients.
• Maintain a sterile working environment according to current infection control procedures.
• Follow all HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
• Monitor and maintain records of supplies and equipment, reordering as necessary.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of chairside experience as an RDA
• Valid Texas Registered Dental Assistant License
• Current CRP certification
