We are a privately owned general dentistry practice located in the St. Johns/St. Augustine area near County Road 210. We have been proudly serving our community for over 18 years and are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our small, fun, team-oriented office!

We are looking for someone who is a team player, organized, dependable, and eager to grow with our practice.

Position Details

Position: Dental Assistant – Expanded Functions
Location: St. Johns, FL – County Road 210 area
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Lunch: 1 hour
Pay: Competitive and based on experience
Experience: Experienced assistants

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of restorative procedures
• Set up and break down operatories
• Take dental X-rays
• Sterilization and infection control
• Pack cord and assist with crown procedures
• Digital scanning for crowns and nightguards
• Take impressions as needed
• Assist with expanded functions according to Florida guidelines and certifications
• Present treatment plans and obtain required consent forms.
• Review post-treatment instructions with patients
• Complete the patient's walk-out appointment and schedule their next appointment when needed
• Maintain organized, clean, and well-stocked operatories
• Assist with front-office duties when needed
