We are hiring a part time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where your expertise will directly enhance patient care and streamline clinical operations. In this vital role, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient flow, and ensure the highest standards of private practice.

This position will begin as two days per week, with the opportunity to add additional days as the practice continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, veneers, implants, oral surgery, and endodontics.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Take dental X-rays and 3D scans
• Manage patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems - Eaglesoft.
• Provide patient management support by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment by processing dental instruments and ensuring all dental equipment is functioning optimally.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting with familiarity in general dentistry is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and dental coding
• Hands-on experience with dental x-ray procedures, infection prevention management, and sterilization procedures.
• Understanding of dental equipment operation including 3D scanners and other advanced imaging tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and support team members effectively.

Requirements:

• Active Arkansas Dental Assistant License
• Eagerness to learn

Days and Hours:

• Wednesday 8:00am-5:00pm
• Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm
• Potential to add days and hours as the practice grows
