Perio/Implant Dental Clinic Assistant

VA Esthetic Perio-Implant Center in Chantilly, VA. We are searching for a Perio/Pros assistant who is a friendly team player and has strong chair-side experience. We provide the most advanced Perio/Pros treatments by fully utilizing the full scope of digital equipment including CBCT, Oral Scanner, Laser and etc. You will have the best opportunity to learn many advanced surgical and restorative techniques and treatments along with great hours and teaching focused environment !!!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare exam rooms for appointments by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for the Periodontist and Prosthodontist.
• Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs throughout the appointment
• Take and process X-rays, CBCT, and Oral Scan
• Greet patients as they arrive and schedule patient appointments
• Take billing and insurance details from patients
• Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene and post-op instructions
• Update and maintain client's dental records
• Handle general clinic administrative work and maintenance of exam rooms and the dental office
• Help setting up seminar and conferences for continuing education in the clinic

Requirements:

• 2+ years Dental Assistant experience (Recommended)
• High school or equivalent (Required)
• Virginia X-ray License (Recommended)
• Registered Dental Assistant License/Certification (Preferred)
• Dental Specialty: Periodontics (Preferred), General Dentistry and Prosthodontics (Preferred)
