Pediatric Dental - Front Office Specialist for Established Private Dental Practice

Dentistry for Children is looking for an amazing individual to join our expanding dental team as a full-time front office specialist. We LOVE kids and in order to apply, you must as well! This position is full time and will serve our state-of-the-art location in Creve Coeur, MO. Dentistry for Children has been serving the St. Louis community for over 50 years and is privately owned; not a corporate dental office.

The ideal candidate loves kids and is professional, friendly, detail-oriented, responsible and a team player. Experience in a dental setting is preferred, however, we are willing to train the ideal candidate!

Requirements:

· A friendly, positive demeanor with patients, parents and office team members

· Outstanding written & verbal communication skills

· A thorough knowledge of dentistry and/or willingness to learn

· Strong computer skills

· Ability to work Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm

Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

· Greeting patients and parents with a warm and welcoming smile

· Answering phone calls

· Scheduling patients

· Verifying insurance benefits; tracking outstanding insurance claims

· Presenting treatment plans and collecting payment

· Submitting insurance claims

· Submitting and entering predeterminations and insurance payments

· Sending account statements

· Entering patient information into Curve Hero software

· Complying with HIPAA and OSHA standards

· Processing End of Day

· Handling paperwork flow

Pay: $15.00 - $28.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
