Pediatric Dental Assistant

Overview

Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical operations. Paid positions are available, including internships, providing valuable hands-on experience in a thriving dental practice.

Duties

• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Dental cleanings/prophylaxis, fluoride application, and sealants.
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
• Provide Pre/Post OP instructions for oral care following dental treatment procedures.
• Teach patients oral hygiene to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing and flossing).
• Chart/enter treatment and notes into Eaglesoft.
• Sterilization
• Maintaining clean and sterile work environment

Qualifications Preferred

• Love working with children
• Experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental equipment, medical terminology, and clinical procedures.
• X-Ray Certification (preferred)
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with patients, team members, and dentists

Full-time: Monday - Thursday

Hours: 7:45am - 5 pm

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
