Dental Hygienist

Join our dynamic dental team as a Part-Time Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional oral healthcare! Our office is located in SW Portland where you would be part of a single doctor office. We are searching for a great hygienist who can provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health, and support the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Duties

• Perform prophylaxis and scaling and root planning.
• Dental Radiology proficient and certified
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and periodontal care
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using an electronic health records (EHR) system
• Follow infection prevention protocols, including aseptic technique and infection control measures, to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist
• Valid Dental Radiology License
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively

This is the perfect position for a dental hygienist wanting part time - we currently need Monday and Thursday from 8am-5pm. We take lunch from 1-2pm. We have a team of 4 hygienists who will work alongside you in caring for our great group of patients.

Pay: $55.00 - $62.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 per week
