Dental Hygienist

Geelan Dental Care is looking for a thoughtful, patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team 1-2 consistent day(s) per week in the New Year. Choose Monday, Tuesday, and/or Thursday based on your availability.

We’re hoping to find a hygieniest who values periodontal health, patient education, and relationship-based care that is looking to grow with an exceptional, ethical practice.

Schedule:

• 1-2 consistent day(s) per week
• Choose Monday, Tuesday, and/or Thursday
• Flexible Patient hours: 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (willing to work with late start/early out)
• One-hour lunch
• No evenings or weekends
• Paid team meetings and required training

About Our Practice:

Our goal is to make every patient feel like they are the only person in the office.

Our hygiene program is robust, individualized, and relationship-driven. Hygienists typically see only 6–7 patients per day, with 60–90-minute recare appointments based on each patient’s clinical needs. Our long-term patients genuinely value their hygiene visits—and they’re a little obsessed with our EMS Airflow equipment and the team members who take the time to get to know them.

Our modern office was built in 2022 and is located in John’s Landing in South Portland. It is filled with natural light, thoughtful details, happy plants, and a team that genuinely enjoys working together. We have a private parking lot, nearby walking paths, coffee shops, restaurants, and food trucks.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current Oregon dental hygiene license
• Patient-centered and education-focused approach
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
• Genuine interest in periodontal health and continuing education
• Kind, dependable, and respectful team member
• Someone who values quality care over a rushed schedule
• EMS Airflow experience is appreciated but not required—we’re happy to train the right person
