Associate Dentist

About us
Daybreak Dental is a general dental practice on South Congress Avenue in Austin (78704). We’re in-network with major PPO plans, including Delta Dental and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, and we use Open Dental and iTero digital scanning. We’re looking for a part-time associate who wants a steady schedule, a supportive team, and the chance to practice the full scope of general dentistry.

The role

• 1 to 3 days per week, 8-hour days, with flexibility on Thursdays and Fridays

What you’ll do

• Perform exams, diagnose, and build treatment plans
• Provide restorative care, crowns, extractions, and root canals
• Explain treatment options and preventive care in plain terms
• Keep accurate clinical records in Open Dental
• Use iTero for scanning and treatment support
• Follow infection control and OSHA protocols
• Work with the team to keep care consistent and patients happy

What we’re looking for

• DDS or DMD from an accredited program
• Active Texas dental license and current BLS certification
• At least 2 years of general practice experience
• Comfortable with extractions and [anterior/premolar/molar] endodontics
• Experience with digital scanning (iTero or similar). Open Dental experience is a plus
• Clear, warm communication with patients and staff

Pay and benefits

• $750 per day guarantee or 30% of adjusted production, whichever is greater, calculated per pay period
• Paid time off
