Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator / Patient coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating patient care by coordinating treatment plans, managing patient interactions, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of orthodontic procedures and excellent communication skills to effectively liaise between patients and the dental team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate treatment plans for patients, ensuring they understand their options and the associated procedures.
• Greet new patients and ensure a positive initial experience.
• Present proposed treatment plans and provide accurate cost estimates.
• Assist in scheduling appointments and managing patient flow within the clinic.
• Manage insurance verification processes and assist patients with understanding their benefits.
• Build strong relationships with patients and families, fostering trust and open communication.
• Follow up with patients who are ready to start treatment and those who are undecided.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Experience in sales or commission-based sales is a plus.
• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and dental terminology is preferred.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
