Orthodontic Dental Assistant

New England Orthodontic Specialists, Lynn, MA

We are looking for an Orthodontic Assistant to join our team and provide excellent patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the orthodontist with patient exams, taking x-rays, sterilizing instruments, and providing patient education on proper oral hygiene. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of orthodontic procedures and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care to our patients.

1 year of orthodontic dental assisting experience REQUIRED.

Dental license REQUIRED.

This is a part-time or full-time position offering 3-4 days a week of employment****

8am-530PM

Responsibilities:

• Assist the orthodontist in patient care.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and materials for use in the office.
• Provide patient education on orthodontic treatment and home care.
• Take impressions, x-rays, and photographs of patients' teeth.
• Maintain patient records and charts.
• Assist with laboratory procedures.
• Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.

Must speak English fluenty.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
