Part-Time Orthodontic Assistant (RDA, OAP, or DA) – San Jose, CA

We are a modern, well-established, privately owned orthodontic office in San Jose seeking a part-time Orthodontic Assistant to join our outstanding team. This position is available Mondays and/or Wednesdays, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to supplement their current schedule or achieve better work-life balance.

What You'll Do

• Assist the orthodontist with patient care and clinical procedures
• Work with Invisalign® patients
• Take digital records and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment instructions
• Help maintain an organized, efficient, and welcoming clinical environment
• Assist with scheduling and front office duties when needed

Qualifications

• 1+ year of orthodontic assisting experience preferred
• Experience with Invisalign preferred
• RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) and/or OAP certification is highly preferred
• Dental Assistants (DA) are encouraged to apply—we are willing to train the right candidate who is enthusiastic and eager to learn orthodontics
• Experience with scheduling, patient reception, or front office responsibilities is a strong plus
• Friendly, dependable, organized, and professional
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
