Oral Surgery Assistant

Our facility is an oral and cosmetic ambulatory surgical center located in Urbana, MD. We currently have an opening for a full time surgical assistant to provide clinical support to the practice. We are looking for an outgoing, personable individual with strong work ethic, dependable and outstanding customer service skills to join our team.

The position would involve a variety of responsibilities requiring interpersonal and technical skills; ranging from assisting the surgeon with procedures and consultations, as well as providing administrative support to the practice as needed.

- Close attention to detail is imperative.

- Efficient typing skills mandatory.

- Experience with surgical assisting and sterilization.

-Digital Dentistry workflow experience required.

- Dental radiology certificate for the state of Maryland.

- Future opportunities to further education and training through DAANCE and phlebotomy techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 38.0 per week
