What You'll Do

As a Dental Assistant at Gentle Dentistry, you’ll work closely with our doctors and clinical teams to create an exceptional experience for every patient.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting the dentist during a wide variety of procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms and patients for care
• Taking digital radiographs
• Taking impressions and digital scans
• Reviewing treatment and post-operative instructions with patients
• Maintaining proper sterilization and infection-control standards
• Turning over and preparing operatories efficiently
• Supporting doctors with restorative and specialty procedures
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in Dentrix Ascend
• Helping maintain clinical supplies and inventory
• Following OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control standards
• Supporting a positive, efficient, and welcoming patient experience
• Working collaboratively with doctors, hygienists, business team members, and fellow dental assistants

What We're Looking For

For Licensed Dental Assistant candidates:

• Current Minnesota Dental Assistant License
• Current DANB certification
• Ability to maintain all required Minnesota credentials
• Eligible and authorized to work in the United States

We are also open to experienced unlicensed dental assistants.

If you have strong hands-on dental assisting experience but do not currently hold a Minnesota Dental Assistant License, we still encourage you to apply. Qualified candidates may be considered for an appropriate dental assisting position based on experience, training, and permitted scope of practice.
