Front Office/Business Team Member

Ben Jensen Dental is a privately owned dental practice in Yankton, and we are looking for a Business Team Member to join our growing team.

We are a high-energy office that takes our work seriously, but we also believe you should enjoy the people you work with. We value teamwork, communication, accountability, and creating a great experience for our patients.

We’re looking for someone who can keep things organized, communicates well with patients and coworkers, and isn’t afraid to jump in and help wherever needed.

What You'll Do

This position is an important part of keeping our practice running smoothly. Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and maintaining an efficient, productive schedule
• Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
• Welcoming patients and handling check-ins and check-outs
• Answering phones, emails, and patient messages
• Maintaining accurate patient information and records
• Assisting with accounts receivable, billing, statements, and financial coordination
• Following up with patients and helping keep them connected to their dental care
• Working with our practice management software for scheduling, financials, and reporting
• Assisting with inventory, office organization, and other administrative needs
• Cross-training in other front office responsibilities
• Helping with practice marketing, patient referrals, and reviews
• Jumping in wherever needed to support the rest of the team
• Most importantly, making sure our patients feel welcomed, valued, and well cared for

Dental or medical office experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. More than anything, we’re looking for someone with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to take care of people.

A high school diploma is required. Additional education or experience in business, healthcare, or administration is a plus.
