Front Desk Coordinator – Pediatric Dental Office

Our pediatric dental practice is looking for a friendly, outgoing Front Desk Coordinator to be the first point of contact for our patients and their families. If you love working with kids, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a knack for staying organized while juggling multiple tasks, we'd love to meet you! PREVIOUS DENTAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE IS A MUST.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Verify and review dental insurance benefits and coverage
• Greet patients and families warmly upon arrival
• Manage patient check-in/check-out process
• Handle billing inquiries and collect payments as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Coordinate with clinical staff to keep the schedule running smoothly
• Perform other front desk and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Friendly, warm, and outgoing personality — comfortable working with children and parents
• Strong attention to detail, especially with insurance verification and scheduling
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
• Ability to stay calm and efficient in a busy office environment
• Strong communication skills, both on the phone and in person
• Prior dental or medical front office experience preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with dental insurance and coordination of benefits a plus
